Plastic pollution is one of the most complex and devastating environmental issues of our time, negatively affecting wildlife, ecosystems and human health. Your support can profoundly impact our efforts to keep plastic out of our Great Lakes, the largest freshwater system in the world.

Your donation to the Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup will directly contribute to:

the prevention and removal of harmful plastic from the environment, including in lakes and along shorelines

the collection of critical data, used to inform and advance policy, research and innovative efforts to end plastic pollution

The Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup is a binational initiative of the Council of the Great Lakes Region and Pollution Probe, dedicated to tackling plastic pollution across borders. Donations from Canada and the U.S. are processed through our lead organization for the respective country.
