Community Cleanup in Saugeen Shores

Get to see our PixieDrone plastic capture technology in action and participate in a community cleanup event at Port Elgin Harbour and Beach!

During this event, you will have the opportunity to take part in a demonstration of the Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup's PixieDrone. The Great Lakes Plastics Cleanup is an initiative led by Pollution Probe in Canada and the Council of the Great Lakes Region in the U.S., that uses innovative plastic capture technology to prevent and remove plastic pollution from the Great Lakes and collect data on what is found in collaboration with local communities.  

The PixieDrone is a remote-controlled waste collector that targets all forms of floating debris in the water, including organic, plastic, glass, metal, paper, and rubber.
