The Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup works with marinas throughout the Great Lakes region, which includes the five Great Lakes as well as the waterways between and around them.
The Great Lakes Plastic Cleanup launched with cleanup and capture devices installed in 11 marinas thanks to the support of Environment and Climate Change Canada.
With the support of Ontario's Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, cleanup and capture devices are being installed in marinas across the province.
Marinas with their own capture and cleanup devices are joining us to share their findings, contribute to our research, and help get the word out about the importance of keeping plastic out of our waterways.
